3 large leaves Curly Kale
2 juicy celery sticks
1 medium zuchini
1 medium avocado
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 to 2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp crystal salt or Himalayan salt
Chop kale in fine ribbons and slice celery. Grate zuchini. Place all in a bowl. Add the flesh of the avocado, the yeast, olive oil and salt. SQUISH everything lovingly with both hands until all ingredients are mixed well.

As Above, So Below. As Below, So Above.
Sustainability is both an "inside job" and an outer process. Here at Sustainable People, we empower the both/and journey of becoming inwardly self-sustaining - spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically- and outwardly self-sustaining - through conscious communication, personal action, community involvement and the co-creation of a life-affirming, regenerative economy. We emphasize the keys of self-love, vibrant health and co-operation in all that we be, do and create.

Making Global Warming Sexy...
Ok... a bit tongue and cheek, I know. But, I have seriously been asking this question. I mean, really, what does it take to generate a massive wave of action that transcends all previous paradigms of consciousness? What will it take for us to radically rewrite the operating programs of the human family?
PASSION. A massive pulse of life moving towards life. A sense of being radically connected, interconnected and TOUCHED by all of life. It takes passion and a mature tolerance for sustained intimacy to do any work of real greatness. We are ALL called to a Great Work at this time - a re-making of our place in the world as if the Earth and All of Life mattered. And this lust for life, this movement towards action inspired by love, I might call, well, sexy.

What if the whole of humanity suddenly layed down and felt the pulse of the Earth beneath us? What if millions of people simultaneously reached out with a simple, quiet and compassionate hand to another human? What if 144,ooo people made love at once with the conscious intention of dissolving all fear, isolation, discrimination and hatred? At the very least, the world would be a more peaceful place for just a moment. At the very most, a supernova would ignite, firing both compassionate action and awakening hearts simultaneously. The base impulse of life is to generate, perpetuate and LOVE life. If this isn't sexy, well then... what is? So, perhaps global warming is pushing us towards something - towards loving ourselves, towards loving eachother, and towards living our lives as though we trusted that love was more than enough.
